Synopsis
Questioning her decision to grant custody of their newborn to her ex, eco-activist Feather Sullivan struggles to establish a new business and expand her visiting rights. She has no time to save her sister’s fanny again. But when a blackmailer who’d threatened investors in a nearby wind farm is found dead, Feather and her sister become suspects. When the sister disappears, Feather and a hunky PI seek answers—hindered by Feather’s meddling mother. The trail leads to a hog farm, and the meddling gets messy. And dangerous.

Praise
"McIntosh’s follow-up to her Idaho Best Book Award-winning debut Mustard’s Last Stand does for the state of Idaho what authors such as Carl Hiaasen and Dave Barry did for Florida. Suspense and laughter abound."
—Sonoran Arts Network
"The characters in this read are such a wild bunch of folks, I must know them from somewhere. It feels like home gone wrong, in a hilarious way. I was captivated by the wit, humor, and intrigue. Murder has never been so much fun."
